Vivo V29e To Debut In India On 28 August: Storage Options Revealed

Vivo is all set to launch its new V29e smartphone as the first device of the upcoming Vivo V29 series. Ahead of the debut, color options, RAM variants and camera specifications of the device have been leaked online. The leaks suggest that the upcoming Vivo V29e will come with a dual-camera setup at the back and a punch-hole display. The device has been teased online, revealing some features and specifications. According to the leaks, the Vivo V29e will come with two RAM and storage options and two color variants.

Vivo V29e to make its India debut on August 28. The Chinese smartphone brand tweeted about the arrival of the new V-series smartphone in the country on Friday. The Vivo V29e is confirmed to go on sale via Flipkart, the report has hinted at the smartphone's price as well as storage options in India. The earlier report claimed the smartphone to be launched in the Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 price range.

According to a new report from The Techoutlook, the upcoming Vivo V29e could be launched in two storage options. While the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is expected to be priced at Rs. 26,999, another model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage could debut in India at Rs. 28,999.  However, the storage options as well as exact pricing are yet to be revealed by the company.

The Vivo V29e is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, paired with up to 8GB of  LPDDR 4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 of internal storage. The device also features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, 360Hz PWM dimming, and a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. On the back, the device is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device features a 50MP selfie shooter with autofocus on the front.

 

Regarding connectivity, the Vivo V29e will come with 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The device is also said to have an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security. The device is expected to be powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. Regarding the design, the Vivo V29e is likely to come in two color variants, Arctic Red and Arctic Blue. The device will run on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
