Vivo V23e 5G with 44MP front camera, Android 12 launched in India: Price, specifications

Today, February 21, Vivo launched the V23e 5G mid-range phone in India, which features a 44MP front camera and Android 12 software. 

This is the third phone in the V23 series, following the higher-end V23 and V23 Pro. The Vivo V23e 5G costs Rs 25,990 in India.Vivo V23e 5G is available for purchase beginning today.

One of the V23e's variants, called Sunshine Gold, has a Fluorite AG glass back panel, which gives it a shimmery look and makes it resistant to smudges and fingerprints, just like the V23 and V23 Pro. The outer frame is similar to the V23 in that it is flat. 

The phone will also be available in a more traditional Midnight Blue colorway. The V23e is a slim and light phone with a thickness of 7.32mm and a weight of 172g, as expected.

Vivo V23e 5G specs and features

The V23e has a waterdrop-style notch and a 6.44-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. This phone has a 44-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus. The MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

When you're short on RAM but have enough storage, you can use the Extended RAM 2.0 virtual memory feature to add up to 4GB. Funtouch OS 12 is based on Android 12. A 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging powers the phone.

The V23e has three rear cameras: a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera.

The Vivo V23e 5G is available for purchase in India for Rs 25,990. This is the cost of an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. Vivo India E-store and Vivo partner retail stores will begin selling the phone today, February 21.
